About the Artist:
Daniel Kazimierski
Although Daniel Kazimierski is known internationally as a photographer, he has rarely exhibited his sculpture. These assemblages are made primarily with found objects from Cape Breton.
He is best known for his work with pinhole cameras and 19th century printing processes but has also worked extensively with traditional and digital cameras in many formats as well as documentary and experimental film. He has exhibited widely and taught photography and filmmaking in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, and Denmark. His work is in numerous private and museum collections.
He and his wife reside in Hillsborough, Cape Breton.
